O mundo pop está agitado neste mês de março. A cantora Jennifer Lopez lançou o clipe de sua nova música: On the Floor. O vídeo é feito em parceria com o rapper Pitbull ; autor de sucessos como I know you want me. J.Lo mostrou que não está pra brincadeira e trouxe um filme com referências um tanto quanto inusitadas. A primeira coisa que chama atenção é um sample de uma conhecidíssima música brasileira. Logo no começo do clipe, é possível perceber o ritmo inconfundível da lambada Chorando se foi, do cantor Kaoma (sucesso nos anos 90). A mistura deu uma pitada de latinidade a canção, que é a cara de Jennifer Lopez. On the floor é uma produção de RedOne ; que já emplacou hits como Just Dance, de Lady Gaga.
O vídeo mostra J.Lo em uma boate, na qual ela dança em meio a uma multidão de figurantes. O cantor Pitbull aparece em alguns momentos. O clipe lembra um pouco outro sucesso da cantora, o hit Waiting for tonight.
A música estará no próximo albúm da cantora, que se chamara Love.
