Nesta quinta-feira (17/5), a boy band Backstreet Boys publicou no YouTube o clipe do novo single Don;t go breaking my heart.
Desde 2013, os cinco integrantes - AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, Kevin Richardson e Nick Carter - não lançavam uma música. Naquele ano, eles divulgaram o álbum In a world like this com 13 faixas inéditas, como as canções In a world like this, One phone call, Feels like home e Try.
Espera-se que os Backstreet Boys lancem um novo CD neste ano, o décimo da carreira musical. Além disso, possivelmente o grupo fará uma turnê mudial que passará pelo Brasil, segundo os integrantes prometeram em conversas recentes com os fãs, e o cantor AJ McLean deve divulgar um disco solo.
Sobre a nova música Don;t go breaking my heart
A música começa lenta com apenas Nick Carter cantando e todos dançando coreografias sincronizadas. O clipe é cheio de luzes e fica trocando de imagens para cenas de todos juntos e separados sempre realizando passos de danças.
Don;t go breaking my heart tem batidas eletrônicas e apesar de começar tranquila, no refrão fica bem dançante e animada. Além disso, na letra eles suplicam que a amada não quebre o coração deles: "Baby don;t go/ breaking my heart/ breaking my heart". E ainda explicam que é porque é o único que têm "Cause that;s the only one I got".
