ele queima calorias mesmo quando voc\u00ea est\u00e1 em repouso (Taxa Metab\u00f3lica Basal &#8211; TMB). A sarcopenia &#8220;desliga&#8221; essa fornalha metab\u00f3lica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ao perder m\u00fasculo, a TMB diminui. Isso leva ao &#8220;ganho de peso inexplic\u00e1vel&#8221; comum ap\u00f3s os 40 anos, pois o corpo passa a queimar menos calorias diariamente para se manter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qual o impacto da fraqueza na mobilidade e nos ossos?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A sarcopenia afeta diretamente a for\u00e7a funcional \u2013 a capacidade de realizar tarefas di\u00e1rias como sentar, levantar ou subir escadas. Isso aumenta drasticamente o risco de quedas e a perda de independ\u00eancia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00fasculos fracos tamb\u00e9m significam menos prote\u00e7\u00e3o para as articula\u00e7\u00f5es (causando dores no joelho e lombar) e menos est\u00edmulo para a densidade \u00f3ssea, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.harvard.edu\/staying-healthy\/want-to-live-longer-and-better-do-strength-training\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">acelerando a osteoporose (<strong>Harvard Health<\/strong>)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A sarcopenia e a osteoporose andam juntas?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sim. O treino de for\u00e7a &#8220;puxa&#8221; os ossos (tens\u00e3o mec\u00e2nica), o que sinaliza ao corpo para depositar minerais e fortalecer a estrutura \u00f3ssea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sem a tra\u00e7\u00e3o muscular da for\u00e7a, o osso tamb\u00e9m enfraquece.
