Celebrando o melhor do cinema e da televisão, o Globo de Ouro é uma das principais premiações que antecedem o Oscar, servindo até como termômetro para os possíveis indicados e vencedores da maior premiação da sétima arte. A edição de 2026, realizada neste domingo (11/01), em Los Angeles, foi marcada pela presença do longa brasileiro O Agente Secreto.
Não é o primeiro ano que o Brasil marca presença no Globo de Ouro. Em 2025, Fernanda Torres fez história ao se tornar a primeira brasileira a conquistar o Globo de Ouro com a vitória de Melhor Atriz em Drama por Ainda Estou Aqui, de Walter Salles. Este ano, O Agente Secreto concorreu em três categorias: Melhor Filme de Drama, Melhor Filme em Língua Não Inglesa e Melhor Ator em Drama com Wagner Moura.
